The United Kingdom’s Forward prize has been awarded to Robin Robertson for his collection, Swithering. Other awards went to Tishani Doshi for best first collection, Countries of the Body, and Sean O'Brien for best single poem, “Fantasia on a Theme of James Wright.”

“The judges, who also included poet Moniza Alvi and novelist Sebastian Faulks, read more than 100 collections and more than 100 single poems before reaching their decision, announced in London last night.
